Nr Canterbury, Kent.  Weekend Nanny for 3 children aged 6 months; 2 yrs & 5 yrs.  This position would suit an experienced, energetic and patient  childcarer who enjoys working with the under 5s.  Whilst parents are usually around, the nanny must be used to and capable of sole charge.  Equally it is important that the nanny is happy to work weekends.  Usual nursery duties, getting the children ready for the day, taking to activities etc as required.  The children are used to being looked after by a nanny and have a weekday nanny.  Driver preferred as the family home is in the countryside.  Salary negotiable for right candidate.

Nr Canterbury, Kent: Nanny for sole charge of 15 mth old toddler

Nr Canterbury, Kent - Nanny for sole charge of 15 mth old toddler and also to provide support as needed with new baby due mid-September.  Once mother has returned to work after 6 months' maternity leave, the nanny will then be in sole charge of both children during working hours. This position would suit a countryside loving nanny who enjoys spending time with children outdoors, as well as taking the toddler to various groups eg sensory, music and baby groups. Initially the nanny's main focus will be to look after the toddler making sure routines and activities are kept up as the mother will necessarily be focused on the new baby. At this stage the family are wanting to commit to an 11 month fixed contract commencing around end August/ beginning of September. There is the possibility that the family may wish to extend the contract should the nanny also wish to do this, however they are unable to confirm this at the outset of the contract. A driver is preferred and the family can provide use of a car. Hourly rate will reflect the level of experience. Start end August/beg of September.

Paddock Wood, Kent.  Daily Nanny for sole charge of 2 children aged 7 yrs and 10 yrs for this lovely family. The nanny’s duties will include focusing on the well-being and nurture of the children; school runs; overseeing and encouraging completion of homework; preparing meals; attending sports matches and thinking ahead re clean games’ kits etc for days with sports activities; doing the childrens’ laundry and supporting them in their everyday needs. When the children are at school it would be very helpful if the nanny is happy, alongside undertaking the usual nursery duties, to do some batch cooking; run errands etc; help plan food shopping and generally support the household.  Regarding the hours: In term-times the family need a nanny who will commit to doing 2 longer days from around 7.15am – 7.30/8pm , but the remaining 3 days will be finished by 6pm.  In school holidays as the children like a more relaxed routine and like to get up later etc, the hours are 10am – 6pm.  A driver is required and there is a car available for work use during the day. This really is a great job for a nanny who would enjoy being an integral part of a busy family. Start date ideally June. Generous annualised salary.
